Grand Master Orlando Vega offers wisdom, skill and competency while teaching traditional Taekwon-Do with over 45 years of experience in Martial Arts. He holds a 9th degree black belt with GM Jong Soo Park, 8th degree black belt in the Unified International Taekwon-Do Federation, 6th Dan in OSC Ho Sin Sool (Street self-defense), 5th Dan in Korean Hapkido, 5th Dan in the World Taekwondo Federation, 4th Dan in OSC Mu Ki-Do, a black belt in Judo, and holds the title of President of the International Taekwon-do Federation of the Americas.
Grand Master Orlando Vega believes in teaching traditional Taekwon-Do, as created by General Choi Hong Hi, the founder of Taekwon-Do. He is the owner and operator of Oriental Sports Center in Elizabeth City and has multiple schools in the United States and Puerto Rico.
A variety of classes are offered including Taekwon-Do, weapons, self-defense, and our NEWEST program "Kick to Fit" that focuses on physical fitness, weight loss, and nutrition for adults.
Personal one-on-one private lessons are offered for those interested in individual training to receive one-on-one instruction from a 9th degree Grand Master of Taekwon-Do. Flexible hours are available for private lessons.
